Since 1982 Bergland has made it its business to offer the best possible natural care for your skin. For the cosmetic products high-quality and selected plant active substances are used, if possible from organic cultivation. It goes without saying that no raw materials from dead animals are used and no experiments are carried out on animals. In addition, only natural dyes and fragrances are used and no silicones, paraffins or other petroleum products are used.
BDIH criteria for "Controlled Natural Cosmetics" at a glance:
Plant-based raw materials - The plant-based raw materials used come from organic cultivation wherever possible.
Mineral raw materials - The use of mineral raw materials and raw materials derived from natural substances is permitted with a few exceptions.
Animal welfare - The use of raw materials produced by animals (e.g. honey, milk) is permitted.
No animal testing - neither in production nor in development.
Not permitted substances - Synthetic dyes and fragrances, ethoxylated raw materials, silicones, paraffins and other petroleum products.
Preservatives - In addition to natural preservatives, certain nature-identical preservatives are permitted.
Radioactive Irradiation - Treatment of raw materials and finished products with radioactive radiation is not permitted.
