BIO Spirulina from the spiral blue-green algae Spirulina platensis is one of the oldest known organisms. It is not a marine alga, but thrives in highly alkaline waters in subtropical regions. Already Aztecs and Mayas knew many centuries ago about the special effects of this micro alga. The pure, natural Spirulina is grown without pesticides in mineral-rich water in a completely isolated location. The proximity to the equator provides an optimal climate. Due to the strong sunlight and the favorable water composition, the algae can develop optimally.
