Why are omega 3 fatty acids important for children ?
Omega-3 fatty acids are among the unsaturated fatty acids and provide children with these long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids. Children and adolescents in particular generally consume too little of the important omega-3 fatty acids in their diet, as children tend to eat rather little fish. The components contained therein are docosahexaen (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), which cannot be formed in the body itself and are only contained in a few foods. With the Omega-3 capsules for children, children, adolescents and of course adults can support their Omega 3 supply in a simple way.
