Glucosamine, an amino sugar, serves as a building block for the synthesis of glycoproteins and is an important component of cartilage and synovial fluid. Chondroitin sulfate, a macromolecule consisting of sulfated glucosaminoglycans, is responsible for the resistance of cartilage tissue to compression. The trace elements selenium and manganese are involved in the body's protective mechanism against oxidative stress. Manganese also contributes to the maintenance of normal bone and normal connective tissue synthesis. Chondroitin and glucosamine complement each other perfectly. That is why we offer both in one capsule.
