Tea tree oil is considered antiseptic. It works effectively against viruses, bacteria and fungi. Thus it works among other things well with acne, herpes and insect bites. The anti-inflammatory, wound healing, disinfecting and piltötende effect makes it almost a "miracle cure". Well known and still used in cosmetics.
