Intestinal is a complete food for dogs with a sensitive gastrointestinal tract. It is a highly digestible food with duck as a protein source and potatoes as a carbohydrate source.
For gastrointestinal problems, the right composition of fiber is also important. Fructo- and mannanoligosaccharides are fermentable fibers that are important as food for "good" intestinal bacteria. However, just like the non-fermentable fibers, they bind water and thus act against constipation and diarrhea.
