- Struvite crystals to dissolve
- Regularly recurring struvite crystals.
Not for:
- Kittens, geriatric cats
- Pregnancy, lactation
- Cats receiving (a full dose of) urinary acidifying drugs
- Urinary crystals of urate, oxalate and cystine
- (Chronic) renal failure
Low potassium keeps urine pH low.
Magnesium is decreased, to a safe level, so that hypomagnesemia does not occur even with long-term use.
Absorption of minerals that lead to formation of struvite crystals is limited.
